Coach’s File complete

I have removed all of the Juniors that were used for coaches that were both Head Coach and Coordinator. No longer Stever Spurrier, Jr. and Bobby Petrino, Jr.

I also corrected about ten minor spelling errors.

I correctly identified another ten coaches.

I corrected the skin color for a handful of coaches.

I removed Jim Tressel, Carl Torbush, Bill Stewart.

I made Dana Holgorsen the head coach of West Virginia.

I made Luke Fickell the head coach of the Ohio State University.

I corrected the Alma Mater’s for over 150+ head coaches and coordinators.

** For any coach that did not have their respective Alma Mater I used an available school that was relevant.

For example, if someone was from Cincinnati, Ohio but played at Youngstown State… their alma mater would be Cincinnati.

Another example, if someone played at Carroll College in Montana…. Of course, Montana does not have an FBS program. The closest school would be Idaho.

Another example, if someone played at a small school but was a Graduate Assistant coach at an FBS program… Of course, I used the G.A. school as their Alma Mater.

** The main thing that I was trying to accomplish was to make the Coaching Carousel experience as realistic as possible. No coach from New Hampshire with East Coast ties should have Washington as their Alma Mater.

UPDATE: NCAA Football ’12 odyssey

Louisville, KY – Currently I am sitting in the lab patiently awaiting my copy of NCAA Football ’12 to be delivered by the USPS. Again, I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of the NCAA Football series for the seventh straight year. The hunt for an early copy of the game rarely goes without a hitch. The stories are rather entertaining if not amusing.

I’ve received free copies directly from EA Sports. Other years I’ve had people promise me that they would have the game early… only to be left scrambling to find an alternative means. This year was no different. I thought that I could use the same source that I used last year… my man Angelo in Central Kentucky. But that didn’t happen. His source has had copies of NCAA Football ’12 since the Fourth of July. But Angelo could not pull any strings to secure me an early copy. I actually offered $150 for a copy of NCAA Football ’12 by Wednesday night. So I began using my trusted network of FLIGHTWHITE and ODogg to track down a copy of NCAA Football ’12. Every year ODogg hits the phone trail in Columbus and NW Ohio searching for stores that will sell the NCAA Football series early. With some pretty good leads developing and some potential stores identified he was optimistic that he would have the game by this weekend. But we leave nothing to chance. Enter FLIGHTWHITE!!!

After a series of texts on Thursday morning congratulating him and inquiring where he received his game- FLIGHTWHITE in Cincinnati made a phone call to his source. I immediately received a text message and then a phone call to contact this gentleman in Atlanta. After a quick phone call to Atlanta I was directed to contact the actual eBAY source in Colorado. After a series of e-mails, texts and phone call I had secured two copies of NCAA Football ’12 for myself and CAJUN COMMISH. I had also shared my good fortune with ODogg!

By noon today I will have my copy of NCAA Football ’12 and will begin editing rosters immediately!!! Please: DO NOT send me friend requests on XBox Live wanting rosters. DO NOT flood my inbox with messages asking if the rosters are ready! I will post periodic updates and will keep ODogg informed of my progress. He will post on the forums here and at Operation Sports.
